Child cold sore?

I got a cold sore 12 days ago and I took acyclovir I have been very careful not to kiss the kids or let them touch my lips. Now I’m very paranoid I have a 9 week old and 2 year old and I think my 2 year old may be getting a cold sore 😭😭😭 thoughts?

Take him to the doctor to relieve your stress. When I'm worried I go to the emergency room. They will not judge you either. I always say In would rather be safe than sorry.

My two year old has had the same thing right where your child's is. I also get cold sores. I freaked out that I had given him cold sores but it ended up going away after a couple days so I think it was just dry lips or an abrasion. I hope it goes away for your little one too! I've also read that our children develop some immunity to our cold sores but idk how true that is
