I personally just don’t think its worth waiting it out to see. Abuse is abuse, no matter which form it is. Nobody deserves to be treated like shit by the one that’s supposed to love them.

Yes. Abusers use emotional abuse to keep people trapped inside their own feelings. Once they start to see through it and get strong enough to try to leave, that's when the abuser has to escalate things to keep you trapped. When you no longer are emotionally possessed and it takes physical possession to keep you. If that makes sense.

I'm not sure. I was with a mentally and emotionally abusive guy for a year and he never laid a hand on me out of anger. But mental and emotional abuse is just as bad as physical abuse and should not be put up with.

I work with traumatized people. Some are physically abused, some sexually, some emotionally and many have a combination of emotional and physical abuse or emotional and sexual (and physical) abuse.

Always? No...but I don't like how people view physical abuse as worse and romantiaze emotional abuse (especially women as the abusers). They're both abuse and both horrible
