nipples once pierced now leaking?

8 months pregnant and when I was bathing today I noticed white stuff where my nipple piercings used to be. I haven't had barbells in for over 3 years and am just worried that my nipples will be blocked any ideas?

I had mine pierced many moons ago. At 27 weeks milk came in and despite a little leak from one of the piercing sites there are no signs of blockage. I was worried too, but all seems well.

It doesn’t mean anything is wrong. The white stuff is just the start of lactation. You start leaking a little colostrum before you have the baby and it settles in the indentations where the barbells were. It won’t hurt anything and doesn’t mean you will have problems. :)

it's probably your colostrum (not milk!) coming in. If they're inflamed or painful and it's not relieved after the substance conning out, it might be an infection. If it's relieved, or never painful (my boobs get super itchy when they're full) it's the colostrum. Since you are producing early (same here!), pump and save it for later or donate to a local NICU!
