Y’all, so my MIL is in town and staying till December...

—-Wanna rant, but also tell me if I’m wrong To be a bit upset... but—

I don’t hate her nor do I love her— I’m EH.

Wellllll last year when she came for thanksgiving, I cooked everything! Then when she got here this time, we talked about what we were gonna do for Thursday.. she says she’s not sure so I said I’ll make what I made last year and she was cool with it.

I make a stuffed turkey roll, stuffed mushrooms, baked Mac, mashed potatoes, and deserts!

I went to the store to buy the stuff I need ( I hate last minute shopping 😡😡😡). I got turkey breast ( I make a turkey stuffed roll instead of the whole turkey because everyone in the fam mainly wants the breast), stuff for my dressing, and stuff for my appetizers/sides. Told my bf to text/ call her and let her know what ima gonna make and that I have everything I need!

Today, this woman tells me not to worry because she’s making a whole turkey!! And tamales??? Oh god! Those are for Xmas! I’m like wtf!

So I didn’t say anything cuz my Spanish isn’t too well but my bf saw my face. He told me to just make the roll for us at home and other stuff at home too...

No I refuse to eat turkeys and TAMALES for thanksgiving! I’m kinda annoyed because she was okay with what i was gonna do ( besides she’s a guest!) at first.. then she goes and changes her mind after she knew I bought everything!

She can buy whatever she wants, I’m making my shit and still bringing it over! Fuck it, the more food the merrier lol
