A few days ago I was taking a shower and I could not find my strings. I decided to check again, since this had happened before due to not checking correctly. The next day I checked again, and nothing. I decided to go to the doctors office and get checked out. After being examined the doctor realized I was right and she also could not see or feel the strings or IUD. The doctor order a ultrasound and later called me to go over the results. After viewing the ultrasound she saw that my IUD had moved but was still somewhere in the uterus and it seemed that it was stuck in the middle of a mass. The doctor said it didn’t look like cancer but wasn’t sure so I would have to be referred over to a OBGYN to get the IUD and mass taken out and examined. I’m waiting on the OBGYN to call me and I’m freaking out. Sorry for the long story but I’m trying to vent how scared I am and wondering if anyone has gone trough this?
