Rude or no?

Alyssa

It’s honestly not that deep but trying to see if immjust weird by being oddly annoyed by this.

The background: im hosting my first thanksgiving, pregnant with my first, and studying for a professional certification where I test in a few weeks. I’m basically on overload.

My in laws fly in Tuesday night at about 8 pm. We paid for the sister in law to stay at a villa and dropped about 600 dollars. She just sent a grocery list for us to “prep” the villa and I can tell you right now I have no clue where to get some of this stuff.

So last night she tells us she changed the flight and will instead arrive at 10 am Tuesday. This means the husband needs the day off of work, I lose a study day and a day to prep the house. She has also asked that our nursery be available for her child as she will be tired and the villa won’t be open yet.

I think it’s incredibly rude to change plans without first confirming if it works for the host. What’s are your thoughts?
