After working in a charity shop I realised the clothes in charity shops are probably cleaner than those in new shops. There's so much you have to do to ensure they're clean and with new clothes in big stores they're just shoved on display and left for a while. I also bought a really comfortable cardigan for £1, where else am I gonna get clothes on the cheap?

Not to be rude but I am grossed out by second hand clothes. However, I do give all my old clothes, toys, etc to charity.

I do because sometimes you find treasures that you can’t find in other shops! Like affordable designer pieces, or vintage pieces for cheap

I got garbage bags full of baby and toddler clothes for like, $10-20/bag on the facebook buy and sells. All in practically brand new condition since babies wear them sometimes only once (or not at all!) before they grow out of them. I always wash them in hot, hot water as soon as they come into my house, then go through them and find what she would/wouldn't wear, and redonate the stuff that's not my style. I got her first 2 years of clothing for probably under $50-100.

Love shopping second hand! I always find cute stuff. The only thing I don’t usually get are jeans, but that’s because God built me in a funhouse mirror. Only a new pair with stretch will fit me.

Hell yea!! Not like super often, but there can be great find at some thrift stores. I used to only shop at thrift stores when I was away at college and would find some amazing stuff for like $3! Now, I generally only go to like buffalo exchange just cuz it’s in a place that I go to like once a week and I bring my own clothes, but I’m not above going to goodwill or whatever. Like why would I pass up cheap clothes if I can find something good?. All you have to do is wash it lol.
