bleeding after mirena

So I've had mirena put in for almost a month now, and I've bled since I've had it in. It's not really "bleeding" per say, but more of a bloody discharge. Not even enough for a tampon, but I've had to constantly wear panty liners. Is that normal? I haven't had my check up for the string placement yet, so I'll ask then. But just wanted to know if anyone else had this issue.
