Bring toddler to pap smear?

My hubby never misses a prenatal appt. We have our 2 year old now and im 10 weeks pregnant. I am sure the doc will bring the doppler out before or after my pap smear. I want them to hear the heartbeat. Have you ladies brought your hubby and kid inside for a pap smear? room is not big..maybe 10x 10 with the table

My husband and two and half year were present for my pap and transvaginal ultrasound. We had my son sit on my husbands lap and watch YouTube on my phone while everything was happening.

Toddler won’t remember it. My husband was in there with me and a friend. It’s natural if you ask me.

We went todAy all three of us and I laid on the table for my Pap smear and my kid yells that’s disgusting! Everyone cracked up 😂😂

well I brought them both.. everything was fine. however, the doctor didnt see the heartbeat. Im so crushed...its my 1st miscarriage. I had a healthy pregnancy with my 1st. I had an off feeling this entire pregnancy.

Um I would have them wait out in the hall until the pap is done. That is just something I don’t feel a toddler should see happening. Could be just me though. 🤷‍♀️

He/she can play on your phone if you’re okay with him/her being in the room with you. It shouldn’t really matter if other people think it’s wrong or right. I don’t understand that. It’s your family, your decision.

I just asked my doc if we could do the Doppler first and then my hubby left for the pap. He didn’t have an issue with it.

my hubby never sees anything so i know my toddler wont. Im just worried because the room is so small. I guess if my son sits on my husbands lap. I really just want thrm in there for pregnancy discussion and the doppler if he does it. a stroller would for sure not fit in this room :/

I brought my 1.5yo to my first appointment. Didn’t have a choice 🤷🏼‍♀️ they aren’t even going to notice and if anything bring in your stroller and turn it away during that time.
