Antidepressants?

Anyone else on here newly pregnant and taking antidepressants? I’m on a very low dose (5mg) and my doc advised it’s safer for me to be on it than off, for my anxiety. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

Yes, I'm on a low dose of lexapro. my doctor told me the same thing. I have post partum from my last baby and anxiety is so bad I have heart palpitations. I stopped taking them a year ago and got back on it 2 months ago. been trying for a baby for almost a year and I think bringing my anxiety down helped conceive. I worry sometimes tho, if I should be on it while pregnant.. I hate that I have to take them. but I'm a much better person even on the low dose. less irritable and I don't get dizzy spells and my heart doesn't come out my chest 10x a day anymore

I’m on 30mg of Cymbalta and my doctor is keeping me on it throughout my pregnancy, he said if I went off of it it could cause a miscarriage or unhealthy pregnancy

If your doc says it’s ok then stay on them. My doctor is very conservative and wanted me off. I’m seeing how it goes for the next couple of months but I really don’t like being off them. My thoughts are already spinning. I’m seeing a therapist so that helps but I am really reliant on my meds. If it gets worse I’m going to see another doctor.  I agree no one wants to suffer when pregnant so stay on them and be grateful for your enlightened doc.

Actually just went cold turkey I don't even take paracetamol when pregnant (I know
I'm an idiot but anxiety takes over) totally hoping I can make it through x

yes I'm medium dose of paxil, been on it for over 12 years...they said not to risk the withdrawal to my body, that it would be riskier than stay on it
