Would you continue painting with this colour?

Question

My house was beige when we moved in, and I needed a change! I picked a nice, earthy green that I thought would look good with the floors/wood cubbords, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm not sure if I hate it, or I'm just not used to it. Opinions? This is only the first coat and I've stopped painting until I decide if it stays or not!

My mom painted our house that color once. Within the month she hated it so much that we repainted the entire house. I’d change it.

I personally like the color, but I also really like that not all of the walls are that colors.

paint it grey. grey goes with EVERYTHING!

I like the color, however in my opinion it probably is going to leave the room feeling darker than if it were more a neutral or bright color. And of course that may not matter to everyone, but for me I like a lot of natural light and brightness which this color doesn't vibe with that.

Oh no. That sucks ugh. I always tell people go for a lighter duller shade than what you think you like because when it’s on the walls it’s A LOT. I really think this needs to be toned down a lot. Maybe a little more of an olive shade and lighter? Green isn’t my thing for walls but I get that people like color so obviously stick to your aesthetic but I truly think if you’re already not liking it then you shouldn’t force yourself to. I mean it makes the place look darker and probably smaller than what it actually is and it is bringing out too much warmth and orangey in the rest of the house.

I personally don’t like it, I would’ve painted all white and maybe a slight off white feature wall :)
