Staying strong at 19weeks!

Baby boy loves it when I work out! We did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes of free weights for a total body workout. I’ve had to switch up my normal routine...instead of lifting heavy, I’ve dropped the weight and increased the number of reps in each set. I no longer push for lots of sweat when I do my cardio. Instead, I try to get in 30 minutes of steady exertion with no breaks if I can manage, though I do take them if I’m too out of breath. I remind myself every time I’m “not in the mood” or “too tired” that activity is so good for him and for me, and it helps me push through. And it really is true...I feel so much better after a workout, no matter how crappy I felt to start. Any other mamas enjoying their workouts still? Stay strong mamas! 💪🏻
