boyfriend doesn’t want me to meet his family ?

so i️ just started dating this wonderful guy a few months ago (two , to be exact) and he’s told his mom so many amazing things about me that she’s dying to meet me . i️ was on the phone with him a few weeks ago and she grabbed it from him and she invited me to his childhood home for thanksgiving !!!’ at first we were both a little hesitant since our relationship is so new , but i’ve been giving it a lot of thought and i️ think i️ really do want to meet his family ! i️ brought the issue up again and he expressed in no uncertain terms that he doesnt feel comfortable with me meeting his family . should i️ be concerned ? why wouldn’t he want me to meet his family ? and all of his “reasons” just seem like sloppy excuses to cover up an underlying issue that he doesn’t want to communicate to me . does he not see a future with me , and that’s why he doesn’t want me to meet his family ? what do y’all think ?

You've been dating for 2 months. He has a point. Stop being pushy. 
It's illogical to do so in a brand new relationship. If you guys are fighting over issues that a year + relationship should have, things might end soon. Yes you don't really mind it, but he does. He doesn't have multiple little places to go to, he has one. Maybe he is unsure about your relationship so far because it's only been TWO months and wants to take things slow. 
You're overreacting. Respect his wishes and his family, you shouldn't invite yourself over. HE should be the one inviting you.

I️ personally think two months is waaaayyyy too early to meet his entire family. when I️ met my husband it took me 6 months to introduce him to my mother (father out of the pic). And almost a year to introduce him to the rest of the family. Don’t be offended just let him decide when’s the right time.

I think you should believe him and not force him into agreeing on it. He probably does have anxiety, I wouldn’t want someone I like meeting my family all at once.

his last post said why. my husband is really shy and haaaates being the center of attention. he would have felt extremely uncomfortable if he had to deal with that as opposed to just meeting his parents, and then later maybe just meeting his siblings or aunt and uncle. holidays can be overwhelming

Not to be rude so please don't take it that way but if he isnt ready to have you meet them you need to be respectful of that.
2 months is not a long time... and to meet an entire family all at once its a big step. 
Not everyone views meeting families this way but it seems like he does. He is trying to not hurt your feelings I think by not just straight out saying he doesnt want you to come.

I see where he’s coming from. I think you should try to as well. I don’t think it means he doesn’t care about you or take you seriously but meeting family should be done on his terms when he’s comfortable. Clearly he isn’t. Two months isn’t that long so give it time.

From his messages and from my own personal experience, it sounds like his family is the problem not you. He feels pressured by them and uncomfortable and probably embarrassed by them so he’s not ready for you to meet them especially all at once. He probably doesn’t want to scare you away. My ex boyfriend didn’t want me to meet his family for as long as he could put it off and at first I got offended and the wrong idea but then when I finally met them, it all made sense! He even told me after that was the reason. He didn’t want to scare me off with his crazy family lol. I wouldn’t worry! Still very early in the relationship and you both are still just getting comfortable around each other😊 I know this is an old post but I just saw it and figured I’d leave a helpful comment.
