So I got a yeast infection for the first time last time I was on my period and it was hell. I'm approaching my next period (should start within a couple days) and I think I'm getting another yeast infection. I'm a pretty hygienic person. But I don't use scented soaps or really soap at all on my vaginal area bc I've heard it's bad. Why do I keep getting yeast infections? Is there a way to prevent them? Is this just something I'm gonna have to deal with during every period from now on? Does having sex make someone more vulnerable to yeast infections? Any help is appreciated.
