Am i doing something wrong?

My baby cant stand straight while holding on to something and she cant sit up from a laying down position yet?

They’re still so young. There is time. Every baby has its own pace. My twins can’t sit up yet but my boy twin is already crawling. But my girl twin won’t even put weight on her legs or even attempt to sit up. Every baby is just different.

Mine can’t sit from a lying position yet either. She’s trying. She just got to where she could sit up pretty good. She still falls over sometimes. They move at their own pace.

Most likely not. Sitting independently and standing while holding on to something is on average at 8 months and 9-12 months. If you are giving her plenty opportunity to practice (as in floor time) and are not restricting her then she is just taking her time/spending time on something else. You can after all only lead the horse to water .
