how far gone was you when you told people your pregnant?

I'm 9 weeks and only me and my partner know. going to tell the mother in law tomorrow and my mum. but I'm shitting myself. I'm 28 and it's my second. just scared it's too early to tell people as I haven't seen it yet . but the thing is I have my staff night out on the 9th Dec and can't drink so need to tell people by then. how far gone was you when you told people?

I’ve read that once you’re around the 12-13 week mark is generally the safest, because you’re in the second trimester.

I’m not putting it on social media until we are safely in the 2nd trimester. I have another ultrasound on the 18th of dec so after we have that I will do a family photo shoot to get an announcement picture. I’m 8 weeks and we told my whole family and my husbands mom, dad, brother and sister in law. We didn’t tell his extended family yet because their are a ton of them and once they know everyone will know. We will tell them before posting anything on social media through.

we told our families at about 6 weeks. and we have been telling or close friends as we see them.......but I will never "announce on social media." I will be 9 weeks and this is our first. I am 33 and my husband is 38, so we wanted our families to be able to enjoy with us! it is whenever you are comfortable. this worked for us. everyone is different.

Almost 21 weeks 😊 the only one that knew that I was pregnant before that was the baby's father.

With my first we told our immediate families pretty much straight away, around 4-5w. Extended family we told on Christmas Day at 8w. Friends and others were told with our Facebook announcement around 14w. Had a super faint BFP today so if this one turns out to be a sticky bean, we won’t tell immediate family til Christmas (about 8w again).

We told our parents at 9wks after the ultrasound confirm everything was ok. We shared the news with everyone else after 12wks.
