Two weeks ago when I was 37+5 weeks I had an appointment and my doctor said I was 1 cm dilated and 60% effaced and my cervix was still very high. My next appointment which was last week, I had a different doctor and she could barely reach my cervix and said I wasn’t dilated at all and only 50% effaced. Of course I was disappointed. Since then I’ve been walking, bouncing on my ball, doing squats, doing everything I can and I still have not had contractions. Just cramps. I have another appointment today at 39+5 and im supposed to get a membrane sweep. Im nervous and I feel like I will never have my baby.
