I went in for a check up today and the nurse couldn't find the heart beat. so we did an ultrasound and still couldn't find it so we tried a vaginal ultrasound. During the process she left the room quickly and left the wand in me. came back and I asked if everything was okay all she said was "I'm just going to let the doctor look at the pictures" and she sent us to the exam room. the doctor came in and said "I am very sorry to tell you this the day before thanks giving but the baby has no he art beat and stopped growing at 8 weeks". We were suppose to schedule out appointment today to find out the gender in 4 weeks. Today was not the type of excitement that I wanted to have. I am devastated. We tried for 5 1/2 years just to have this happen. Our little baby is in heaven now. I am not sure how to handle this. I have been through my fair share in my life but this was not something I thought I would ever have to deal with. Hubby and I are heart broken. This was our first. All of you other moms out there hug your babies because life can change in a blink of an eye. Have a happy and healthy pregnancy to all of you.
