What time is your Thanksgiving dinner

my husband thinks it's absurd my family is having dinner at 2 but I gotta think theyre not the only ones. Also curious, what's your favorite side dish on Thanksgiving?

He have ours around the same time on my mom’s side and on my dads side we have it more like 4 or 5. Totally normal! And mashed potatoes and gravy allllll the way 😍

Omg! My hubs always gets so mad whenever we went somewhere for thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter and they ate at 2p!!!! We host thanksgiving every year (this’ll be our 4th year) —  we always eat around 430/5p.

I personally HATE it when family does stuff mid-day but we usually have to go one place at noon and another at 5 so 2 really throws a wrench in our plans. We will have 6, yes six Thanksgivings this year 🙄 we have huge families and out of town family coming on different days. Also I feel like 2 takes up the whole day then and I like to have some alone time to decompress from all the people and stress.

We’re eating at 2. I️ think it’s perfect, you have plenty of time to hang out and visit and then go to another family or friends place if you have to.

We serve dinner at 3 that way when “dinner time/5-6” rolls around Ota time for dessert.

If I was going to my grandma’s from Massachusetts I’m sure we would be having it at 1 or 2 pm, but I’m going to my grandmother from Pennsylvania’s house so we’re having it as dinner, like 6. I’m not sure if there’s a state difference or not lol both grandmothers live in NC now.

My husband and I are doing it at 1:00, so I don’t have to worry about making lunch too. We’ll eat it for lunch, and then, we’ll have more for dinner if we’re hungry later 🤷🏼‍♀️ Then again, it’ll only be us two and our two month old, so we don’t have to worry about anyone else’s schedules.
