Getting my 2 year old boy a moana doll for Christmas

So, my little boy is obsessed with moana. He loves it! Sings along to all the songs etc. I’ve decided to get him a moana doll for Christmas because I know he will love it! My partner, his dad, thinks it’s a great idea. However, a lot of other family members disagree. They say it’s a ‘girls toy’ I honestly don’t see why that matters, if he likes it what harm is it doing?

Can I just say, I’m not looking for reassurance to buy the doll. I’ve already ordered it. I’m just wondering what other people’s thoughts are.
