How often are you feeding baby?

My son is 3 weeks old & I feed on demand but it’s usually every 2-3 hours. I feel like maybe I should be doing it on a schedule every 2 hours or something so he doesn’t have the chance to get really hungry. It seems like when he goes 3+ hours he’s so hungry that he won’t latch because he’s so worked up so I end up giving him a bottle w/ breast milk in it. It sucks but I’m trying to figure this all out after having his tongue tie corrected he latched like a pro & it was awesome & not painful however idk how to handle it when he won’t latch because he’s so worked up.

Also any tips on how to get him to latch using a cradle hold? He seems to only latch using the football hold & that makes it super difficult trying to BF our in public.

Any advice would be amazing !!!!
