My 5 month old Has been sick with rsv and pneumonia and ear infection for 1 week. Does not have a fever, drinks pedialyte, wets diapers, gets breathing treatments every 4 hours, amoxicillin twice daily. Very sleepy, very very congested gurgly sounding chest, deep wet coughs, wheezing at times. She acts really hyper when awake (from the albuterol I think) restless l, then she crash and burns and gets super cranky for sleep. She does not have a rapid breathing pattern, no chest retractions or nasal flaring but that chest sounds awful even with the breathing treatments and cool mist humidifier. She's been to the dr 3 times in 1 week. What would you do going forward? I have no idea if she should still sound this bad 1 week in after multiple breathing treatments (and 2 doses steroids). She's not in respiratory distress persay but she sounds terrible. What should I do? Back to the dr tomorrow? Or ER today? Or.. other suggestions? I feel like she should sound better right now
