I just recently broke up with my boyfriend because it was long distance and I felt lonely, hurt, and smothered throughout the whole thing. I tried and move on, but it didn’t feel right so I told the guy that I wanted a break. Overall I felt “off”. 
This was what he texted me today and wished a happy Thanksgiving.

I did this with my boyfriend I honestly thought it was good for me at first. I was like yeah it’s good, this is what I need but after a week or so it made me realise he is all I want. A month down the line and we are back together and I am more in love with him than ever. Follow your heart but trust your gut. Do what makes you happy regardless of everyone else x

If people were to stay with someone because they were nice or forgiving then there would be many divorces. Wait...🐸☕️ there is. If I could go back in time I would have stopped talking to every guy I didn't feel much for because it was just wasted time and stress.
