Are miscarriages and premature births hereditary?
I ask because my mom had trouble getting pregnant and maintaining pregnancies to full term. She had 3 miscarriages before I was born, and I was born premature at 28 weeks (I was 1 pound 11 ounces). My boyfriend and I have been talking about our marriage and future children. We both want children, but deep down I’m worried that I’ll have trouble getting and staying pregnant. 😔 Is this, or can this be, hereditary?
