If you have cheated or have been cheated on in the past but are with the same partner and have gotten past it please tell HOW you did it? What did your significant other and yourself have to do or do that helped get you past the pain and betrayal

Yes, what helped was to write letters and emails explaining how you both feel... keep communicating. We both keep letters we wrote each other during that time and I read the letter I wrote him recently and I read the letter he wrote me, it toon me back to a dark place but a reminder that I never want to feel that way again. That your actions can have serious consequences. Lucky we made it thru it but it took years to get back on track.

I cheated while i and My husband were separated. Completely unexpected and out of character of me, but I was hurt, he threatened he was gonna cheat on me several times and when he left it started messing with my mind badly. Well, that happened in 2015..here we are about to celebrate 3 years of marriage, have a 4 month old and pregnant again. Love each other very much.

Yes, I cheated with on my fiancé. It was only a kiss in the first month or more (very pissed+my anti-depressants and they don’t mix😅) but still I know it was wrong. I apologised a thousand times and when I said it didn’t mean anything I meant it, we talked it through and decided the best way forward was to block the guy and have no contact and try to move on, meaning no throwing it my face or holding a grudge and me making it up to him, big time. It’s now been a year and 2 months, an angel baby and an engagement later and we really did just move on. We talk about it now as just something that’s happened, I still feel guilty as shit and apologise when it’s brought up (not often) that guy really did mean nothing it made me realise my man really did care, I was a big idiot and so thankful he was the bigger person.
