Remove belly ring or not?

Question

I love my belly piercing. My husband on the other hand has hated since I got it about 4 months ago lol
He hates it even more now that I’m prego and my belly is slowly starting to show and grow (I’m 12 weeks) he says it gets in his way of rubbing my belly lol
So now I’m torn between just taking it out and forgetting about it or leaving it in so it doesn’t close up! 
What should I do?

My husband tried telling me I needed to remove mine while I was pregnant because I'm "a mom now". I bought a flexible one and put my original one back in after the baby. If you like it and it's not causing any issues, keep it

If you like it, keep it. It’s your body. My first ob was rude and said i needed to remove it. But i didn’t want to get it repierced. I had a flexible pregnancy ring that I put in at about 11 weeks. I left it in the whole 41 weeks and it never bothered me other than the occasional itch. I had to take it out for my csection but I put it back in 3 days later when I was feeling better. Then about 6 wks pp I was able to put my regular one back in.

Since you got it not even half a year ago I would keep it in as long as possible. If it gets uncomfortable then buy one of the long flexible ones.

I had mine pierced a couple months before getting pregnant and I had to take it out. The skin around it kept tearing because my tummy was growing and wouldn't allow it to heal. Ended up with a stretch mark where it had been (only stretch mark I got on my belly).

I️’m 20w and still have my regular one in. My ob said I have to remove it otherwise it will “look ugly” after the baby is born...🤷‍♀️

my mom had her belly done with my brother and she got so big her ball popped off she put it back in after she had him

I was going to keep mine in through the whole pregnancy but I finally had to take it out a couple of days ago because the stretching made it uncomfortable. After birth I'll try to put it back in and if it's close then, I'll just get it re-pierced. I really liked mine.

If you like it leave it in. I've got my belly pierced and I love it, I'm 30 weeks pregnant and don't intend taking it out unless I absolutely have to :)
