Sex Before Six Weeks?

Has anybody had sex before there six weeks I believe all my stitches have dissolved..... & call me crazy but I have been more in the mood to have sex then I have ever been ( mostly because I havent had enjoyable sex since I was 6 months 😭 it's been 4 weeks now since I had my son  should I try

You have an open wound inside of you from the placenta, having sex puts you at risk for infection and hemorrhaging 
Yes, some people have done it and been fine. Others weren’t fine. Up to you if you wanna risk it

the main reason they want you to wait is for your cervix to be fully closed and stuff, and if it’s not it’ll risk infection or some extreme irritation at the least. Honestly I recommend just waiting till your doctor says to go ahead. I’m at 4 1/2 weeks pp and honestly understand how you’re feeling, but I’m dead set on waiting

No. It's not the outside healing you need to worry about. Your placenta was ripped away from your uterus, leaving an open 'sore'. Until that is healed (6 weeks), you risk infection and/or hemorrhaging. Yes, some can do this with no issue. Others have ended up in the hospital fighting for their lives.
PLEASE figure out some other ways to 'please' each other for the next 2 weeks. Your body needs the full 6 weeks- NO MATTER WHAT OTHERS SAY.

It's not safe. Not to do with stitches, but the open wound inside your body that can get infected or cause you to bleed out.

Just do other things like hands and mouths

Whatever you decide to do, be careful and stop if it is painful. I was unable to have sex for 3 months postpartum because it was so intensely painful. I was starting to think that they sewed me up too tight after my episiotomy lol, but no, it just takes some people longer to heal. A friend of mine forced jt when it was still painful because she thought she just had to get stretched back out and she ended up having problems because of it. The elasticity will come back in time on its own.

Nope I wouldn’t chance it! But If you decide to have sex use protection unless you want to get pregnant again because you are VERY fertile after birth!

I had my daughter 3 weeks and 4 days ago.. I only had one stitch and gave in and had sex about 2 days ago. I haven’t in 9 long months and was in the mood ever since I had her. 🙄
