I've been filing my babes nails to try and keep them from getting too long and sharp, but it seems like everyday I'm noticing that they need to be done again. Any tips on how to keep them shorter for longer, or how to cut them safely without accidentally cutting him? 😐

His hands are tiny and ticklish so it's hard enough filing them even when he's sleeping, I don't think I would dare go near them with a scissors yet! He's 6 weeks old (-1 day adjusted) and 7lbs 5oz.
