How often do you test?

Not sure how long it takes for HCG levels to rise so just curious to see how many times people test :)

Answer

HCG double every 2-3 days once implantation occurs. Implantation occurs between 6-12DPO (with an average of 10DPO). That means the earliest you could get a positive is 8-9DPO (this is the EARLIEST...its not average). The average would be 12-13 DPO, and the latest would be 14-15DPO. Now all this goes out the window if you have irregular periods or PCOS.

I generally test if I'm 3 or 4 days late, I'm a tightwad so I hate wasting money! :)
