What is YOUR definition of “financially stable”?

I don't care for any of theses options. Financially stable to me means that you are able to cover your expenses and make decent enough financial decisions so you don't suddenly find yourself getting your phone turned off or losing your house or something. Financially you are consistent.

Not living paycheck to paycheck, able to pay all bills, some extras, and save some.

Able to pay bills and keep roof over your head via rent or mortgage and be afford food and things like shampoo, washing powder etc. The extras I don’t think matter all that much, I don’t save and I live pay check to pay check and I have bought my stepson up since he was 3 weeks old (has never seen bio mum or had money from her) and I never wanted kids but my hubby came with a brand new baby so I had no choice. He is 16 now and has wanted for nothing, we both work full time, have zero savings but it has made us realise that if we waited until we felt we were ‘financially stable’ then we would never have kids because there is always something that’s needs money spent on it.
Just bite the bullet and go for it

i dont think id feel financially stable until i can stop worrying about money. right now i shouldnt have worries and i dont pay rent and i save over half of what i make by choice and im stressing about not doing enough and cutting back
