Is sixteen & nineteen too young to get married ?

I’m sixteen & my boyfriend’s nineteen he joined the air force and is going to basic training soon and asked me to marry him I said yes but I still need my mom’s consent but she doesn’t think we’re ready for marriage but I think we are. We’ve been together since I was thirteen we already have a one year old son and are expecting twins in March

The stats aren’t in your favor. Having kids before marriage, and your age. Wait until you’re 25. If you’re still together, get married then. I feel sorry for your situation and no child should have to deal with this.

You guys have a family and are wanting to take it further along .. go for it! 
No one should judge what you should have or where you should be at certain stages in life
I know many successful stories and they started at various times in life
When you know you know and some people never get to have that in life
A family member of mine had a child very young and everyone shamed her for it and spoke ill of her and the father saying how they’d never make it blah blah
Well guess what... 10 years later they are still together and have another child also!
Write your story and see where it goes and pay no mind to the negativity that may follow

Eh, my husbands grandma was married at 14. Around 16 or 17 I think they started having kids, had 8 total. They stayed together until her husband passed away, they were both also very old when he died. She still hasn't even dated and it's been years, she loved him very much.
I don't believe in following statistics for everything. If you believe it's going to fail, then it'll fail.
If we all wanna go off statistics then, all of you who moved in before marriage have a higher chance of divorce. Let's not act like statistics are right even half the time.
Now, I think 16 is too young to get married. However, your situation is different, and since there are already 3 kids involved, which to me is a much bigger commitment, I don't see why marriage would be awful.
However, it is very hard. Its not easy. You have to remember that love isn't just some gooey feeling. It's actions, words. Some days you may not like your partner. Some days you need to choose to love them. You won't always get along, he won't always do stuff right. Marriage is hard and you're very young, and I don't think at 16 someone can understand the seriousness of marriage. Get pre marital counseling if you do get married please.

I got married at 16 hubby was 18 at the time it was really hard for me since I was still in school no kids ! But I love him to death going 4 years with him have a 8 month old and I'm 11 weeks pregnant again

To be honest 16 is really young. But my grandma and grandpa got married at 17 and 18 and had my Uncle 10 months later and had a total of 6 boys... the last 2 we’re twins (my dad and Uncle) my grandpa was in the navy and she worked for McDonald Douglas. They were so in love and she was by his side until the day he died of kidney cancer. 
It’s doable. 
Marriage is hard and kids make it harder. Twins make it extra hard. My sister has twins girls that are a year and half. And she’s exhausted and doesn’t get a lot of help from her husband.(he was finishing his doctorate, he’s a great father but busy) And you have to remember if he’s in the military he’s going to be gone a lot. But fight what you believe in. And tell yourself divorce isn’t a option and it could possibly work for you guys.

That’s a little much I think you should wait and not rush it three kids is alot on someone and you never know what could happen getting married so quick anything could happen during the time and I doubt you would wanna have regrets but it’s your choice not anyone elses so yeah good luck

where is your childhood...but if you already have kid and he propose you .there is no reason not to be together...when i was your age i didnt have boyfriend..it was stictly forbidden..who knows what is best..thete are no best ways
