Would I️ be able to use this in court?

I’ve been thinking of leaving, I️ can’t anymore. But I️ would like my children to be with me. He has never hit me, just yelled and I️ have some pretty mean text messages. 
Then his happened today, I️ thought we were okay but we were discussing money. I️t wasn’t even a fight. I️ really thought we were okays

Were the police called? Were there witnesses (not your children) who can testify that he was the one to do the damage? Is he likely to confess to doing it? 
You can absolutely document this, but it isn’t enough to prove that he did this. Get the heck out of this situation!! Way to go for leaving!
