Period after miscarriage, will it ever come?

So anxiously awaiting for my first period after my miscarriage. My doctor specifically said wait for a period, then start. Then take progesterone as soon as I get a positive test. The period wait is killing me. I’m also having so much more....fluid down there. Like lots of EWCM where before I never had any. 😣😣😣
