Is this enough gifts for Christmas?
We’re having a tough year. Hubby still hasn’t got a job in his new field of work yet and we have baby number three due in three months. We have a very small budget this year and have had to explain to friends and family that we just can’t exchange gifts this year. We plan on buying our parents something small, around £10-£20 each.
I feel like a total Scrooge. Is this enough?
My children are six and eight, two boys.
These are what I’d already bought for their stockings (photo):
They’ll each get:
Giant wooden die
Chocolate coins
Avengers bath mitt
Bath fizzer
Smarties tube
Pug anti-stress ball
Secret Life of Pets dog plush
Twisty fidget toy
Plus Goosebumps books and a Bonnie figure for my 8 year old, and a transformer car and animal dominoes set for my 6 year old.
I may also add some play doh and Lego men in each of their stockings later.
For their main presents:
8yr old:
Geomag Magnets set
Football with two goals for the garden.
6yr old:
Storage box full of arty bits (pens, crayons, papers, glitter etc)
Lego (to add to the small box he got for his birthday) with extra mats.
