My 14 yr old daughter is an amazing, like incredibly talented, better than most adult authors, writer. But she wants to be a cosmetologist. I find myself extremely frustrated that she has this natural talent and doesn't want to pursue it. I even told her she can do both. I have read over 10,000 books in my life and have NEVER read anything so detailed and recapturing as the stories that she writes. I think she is a creative writing prodigy. How do I get her interested in finishing a book? I will submit it to every publisher I can find and can guarantee that she will be published right away. I know that she will then feel the accomplishment and find the passion that she needs to want to pursue this career path.
