Nervous already...
I go to the doctor on Tuesday for my 12 week appointment. I have had two previous pregnancies both of which I had high blood pressure throughout. With my first son they would say the famous words "let's get you to the hospital to monitor you for a while" so I would go, they would monitor the baby for a day or two and I would go home because my blood pressure would go down. I kept trying to tell them I have "white coat syndrome" where my blood pressure rising every time I go to the doctor but they wouldn't believe me. I would check my blood pressure at home before going to the doctor and it would be within normal ranges or maybe a little high. Then I would go to the doctor and it would sky rocket. So with my second pregnancy when they would say the famous words I hated leaving my toddler at home. Now I am pregnant with my third and I DO NOT want to be put in the hospital for monitoring with two kids at home. I am already getting nervous about my next appointment because I don't want them to tell me to go to the hospital. Can I refuse to go or tell them I can monitor my blood pressure at home? Any suggestions!?! And sorry it's so long!
