I have the Mirena IUD and have had it for 9 months now. My boyfriend and I started having sex in September and I have not had a regular period for about a month now but i do start spotting every now and then. I didn’t have a regular period before us having sex but now I am paranoid that I could be pregnant as I have been cramping extremely bad recently. After every time we have sex I bleed a little and have cramps but I believe it’s because of him touching my IUD strings because it happens when he fingers me as well. I’m just scared and could really use some explanation as to what’s going on.
