Could my medications be affecting my fertility?

I've been on these medications for long term and take them daily. I've been ttc for 5months now and read that certain antipsychotics effect fertility. I'm kinda confused if what I take is antipsychotics though. I'm on Latuda, Cymbalta, trazedone, and vistaril. Should I consult my psychiatrist? I'm pretty young and have a male psychiatrist so I'm a little uncomfortable and hesitant.

Definitely consult your psychiatrist! There’s no shame, even though he’s a male psychiatrist he has been trained in this area and would be happy to help :)

Yes. It does affect 
I'm on a lot of meds including hydroxyzine (vistaril) and trazadone  
The trazadone I don't think does but the vistaril states plainly talk to your doctor. 
My physcotherapist and phycologist are both males. It is hard to talk to them about things like this. But it needs to be done!  
You can also consult your local pharmacy and ask them how your medicine affects pregnancy!

Get a good OB if you need meds you need them. Words of my doctor. Unless there in category x. You would need maternal fetal medicine. Certain cases they do allow. For many people who don’t know. The letter system is old and outdated. They use a green light system now. Many people haven’t heard that including some doctors and pharmacists. ( I had world renowned care last pregnancy) this is how I learned this. 😊 gl take care of yourself.

thats correct some medications can cause birth defects so you should inform your Dr your trying to conceive

Not only could these meds affect fertility but they could be dangerous to take if you do become pregnant. You should not be trying to conceive without consulting your doctors first.
