Should I take daughter to the Dr?

This might be silly, but I know for a fact that my daughter was exposed to Influenza A at Thanksgiving because my cousin was diagnosed the day after, as was her father and uncle. I declined the flu shot (she is fully vaccinated other than that). Since last night, she has been coughing and sneezing occasionally (more than normal). She is acting like herself and does not seem to have a fever. Do I head it off and call the doctor, or do I need to wait to see if more symptoms show up? I ask because I know that flu treatments only work if you catch symptoms within the first 48 hours. Thanks in advance!
