There was a post in this group a few minutes ago. A 14 year old was saying that her parents found out she’s Wiccan and she needed to get out of the house. She had a poll set up and one of the options was to run away from home.

I know we aren’t supposed to to call out posts, but this is important. So to that girl:

Move in with who ever you think is best. We don’t know anything about your aunt or your friend so it’s up to you. Just don’t go live on the streets. Young girls get abducted, raped and murdered (or held as sex slaves) every day.

Live with who ever you think will accept you. I know it’s hard. My parents reacted the same way and I had to leave. However my circumstances were more fortunate than yours in that I was also an adult and had life experiences under my belt. You do not.

Do what you must to help yourself, but don’t run away from home with nowhere to go. It’s not safe.
