So I really don’t care what others think because I seriously love this boy and feel ready to give him a promise ring for Christmas but I’m curious to know others opinions, especially from a parents perspective. Me and my boyfriend have been together for a year and 2 months and we have been through so much. Before I met him I was in a bad spot with a bad person and he was literally my prayer come true. I prayed time and time to be lucky enough to find a boy that was sweet and caring with blue eyes, sure enough some random guy with blue eyes added me on Snapchat from my instagram and it went from there. In the past we both considered breaking it off, we’ve taken “breaks”, and we’ve cried on each others shoulders. We’ve made the best memories together and we’ve had so many laughs and smiles. I know this is the man I want to try and spend forever with, he’s so passionate and loving and accepts me for who I am. He’s the first person that I actually feel I can be myself with, this is why I know I’m ready to give him a promise ring. I talked to him about it and he agreed that he has wanted to give me one but wasn’t sure how I would take it. My reason for posting this is to get the opinions of parents and how they would feel if their daughter decided to do the same. I love my parents and like any other family they get on my nerves occasionally. I would hate for them to thing I’m taking it too fast or be mad about the situation.
