I have been diagnosed with PCOS recently my ob/gyn done blood work and found my insulin levels were high. She prescribed me metformin 500mg. The first week I was to take one at bedtime then next week 2 at bedtime, the next 2 at bed then one in the morning finally the next week 2 in the morning 2 at night! That’s 2000mg a day of metformin from then on !!! I was wondering if anyone else has had serious moodiness from metformin? Since I’ve been taking it my husband has said I’ve become a Emortal beeoch! Which is true the smallest thing can set me off !!! Anyone else experience this? If so what did you do to control it? I really need to stay on this medication so I can get pregnant!!
