Sleep regression?

Sydney

I’m in need of some advice. My 8 month old daughter had been sleeping like a champ since she was about 3 months old, until recently.

She sleeps in a crib in her own room, which was never a problem for us before. But now she’s been waking suddenly and crying for me to go in there and console her. I rock her until she falls asleep, but as soon as I put her back in her crib she wakes instantly again. I’ll do this 5-6 times to no avail. I even started crawling in the crib with her to help her fall asleep, but 30 minutes after I am in my own bed she starts crying again.

Now I’ve been just bringing her to bed with us after rocking her to sleep fails. I’m 24 weeks pregnant and cannot continue crawling in the crib with her. And I just know everything I’m doing is wrong but I’m so exhausted and don’t know what else to do.

She doesn’t cry in bed with us but she squirms all night long, like she can’t get comfortable.

She is teething, could this be the cause? I give her baby Tylenol sometimes before bed when it looks like it bothering her but there’s been no improvement in her sleeping pattern.

Or could this be a stage of clinginess and it will pass?

My husband is aggravated because he’s completely against her sleeping with us, which I understand, but he’s not the one getting up all night long! And now, I’m pretty sure I’ve made her dependent upon being in bed with us😫

I’m a FTM, so please no rude comments! I’d love some suggestions or to hear from anyone who can relate... thanks!
