shaving down below before giving birth?

I have always shaved all traces of hair down below but since being pregnant and not being able to see down there I haven't. I am just wondering if you ladies think it's best to have hair when you go into labour or be clean shaven? does it make a difference ?

I've been using one of those shower trimmers to keep it cut really short. It comes with a safety gaurd so no worries since I can't see past my belly haha.  From experience I found it a lot easier to manage post partum bleeding, cleaning,  and stitches without the extra hair.

I prefer to be hairfree down there.. especially with the heavy bleeding afterwards it makes me feel cleaner. I’ve had laser hair removal done but am due for a top up so I’ll be shaving before I deliver

I like to be shaved in general but it's such a challenge now that I can't see what I'm doing.

They see both shaved and not shaved. I don’t think they pay attention. Personally I like to be shaved because if not I get irradiated. If you can’t shave maybe one of the nurses will do it for you if you feel comfortable enough to do that.

I’m having my boyfriend shave me before hand but I think it’s just a preference thing! Rock a bush if that’s what tickles your fancy

I did with my 1st and the Dr said afterwards "you will be glad you shaved" she was in the process of stitching me up. I will be doing it again this time around

Im not shaving just cause I HATE shaving it makes me so uncomfortable I can shave and a few hrs later stubble is already showing up like why shave 🤷🏼‍♀️ im going to be in a hospital bed scratching like a mad woman
