Sex feels different lately

I’ve been with my bf for almost 2 years and the sex has always been amazing. Lately though it feels a bit painful at first almost like it’s too tight. I’m confused as to why all the sudden it hurts at the beginning. Has this ever happened to anyone or does anyone have and ideas why the sudden change?
