So I didn’t know I was going into labor. I was 38 weeks and started having contractions that were inconsistent and really far apart.

That evening they were just so painful that I decided to take a shower. The inconsistent and far apart contractions were back to back about 3-4 minutes. My husband rushed me to the hospital and they said I was only 3-4 cm dilated but they decided to keep me instead of sending me home (thank god).

Within an hour and a half I jumped to 8 cm and I didn’t get a chance to even get an epidural at that point. I was fully dilated thirty minutes later and pushed him out in a few minutes.

I delivered a healthy baby boy. :)
