Sick baby 1 day in daycare

Infant Zarbees! They make one for dry coughs and wet coughs and it’s all natural. Walgreens carry’s it. My LO had a cold at about 4 months and it helped her cough tremendously! It safe for 2 months and up.

My son just turned 7 months yesterday and he had the same problem, he's home now recovering and I feel terrible...but I would get a scoop of vapor rub, plug the tub and put the scoop in the bath tub turn the shower on extremely hot and put a towel at the bottom of the door if it's a spacious bathroom...and once the bathroom gets steamy sit on the toilet seat while you hold your bean and she'll breathe a lot more comfortably... just don't do this if you plan on taking her back out of the house, preferably before bed..also make sure she drinks lots of fluid...if she's 6 months and drinks formula, she can have diluted Gatorade and water with a tiny touch of ginger...she may not want to eat really since she's sick but the fluid supplements will keep her hydrated until she feels ok to eat...but if she's breastfed... she'll need more breast milk than usual...make sure her head and feet stay covered with socks and a hat but not if the room she's in is very warm... don't want any sweating...I hope this helps! All you can do for a 6 month old is use a humidifier at night, suction the nose really well, and use some baby Vick’s, also raising the head of the bed at night. My LO is 6 months and has a cold as well. It’s just that time of year and when they are in Daycare it’s bound to happen.
