That’s correct. You will see that drop right after you ovulated so chart supports your thought. BBT charts are to confirm ovulation not let you know- by the time you see the drop then it’s too late cause egg ovulation was 12-24 hours before

My hubby was home the week my temps seem to rise, and last night was my first night alone again.  I wonder if sleeping with someone vs alone can raise bbt? 
Also, I work a job where sometimes I am on call over night and last night I got called back at 1am.  I was back in bed by 2 and took my BBT at 6, so I had the minimum 3 hours of sleep....
