Let my 6 year old dye her hair....

Am

So my six year old asked me if she could have pink and blue hair.

I said.... “why the hell not!”

I'm raising an independent woman, who's her own person and a awesome little individual... so why the hell not. (Its washable hair chalk so don't murder me) but she suits it so much.

You gotta let your little humans be who they are, let them experiment within reason, give them the responsibility to make their own choices and support them. Show them that they can be open with you and that you will allow them to do what they want so long as it doesn't put them in danger, or put them or their health at risk.

Don't raise sneaky kids who can't talk to you because you don't let them express themselves and be who they are, don't raise rebels, raise strong little warriors with colourful character, with huge personalities and minds of their own.

Screw society and their unrealistic expectations and let the little ones run free and wild. Without limits and unnecessary rules!!

UPDATE!

Wow thank you guys for all your amazing comments! So happy to see all you amazing supportive mums out there! I’m sorry to those of you who weren’t allowed to express yourselves, and I hope now as adults you definitely express yourself as much as you can!!

For those asking what these hair chalks are they are called flashmob live wire. They are from Argos I live in the uk. They are pretty tough to put on and you have to really cake the hair but Indi loves them.

Here’s a new pic of the purple 😁

UPDATE

Another pic for the lady who said it was photoshopped. Screenshot from a video 😊
