Is it normal to have spotting in the first trimester?

I’m 8 weeks & 4 days & I had some spotting in my underwear, when I wipe it shows up on the toilet paper but looks kinda like discharge to me.

I haven’t had sex in a few days due to feeling nauseas 24/freaking7. So it’s not from having rough sex or anything..

Also, I’ve had really bad constipation & have bright red blood when I do actually go #2.. I’ve had problems before becoming pregnant with bleeding rectally but it was just from hemorrhoids I guess. can they just be acting up again from the constipation?
